Social Networking – A Trend

Are you socializing? Beware!
Research shows social networking sites can be dangerous if used constantly.Youngsters engage much of their valuable time in socializing to an extent that it reflects abnormality in their behavior. They forget their identity and engage themselves in displaying a larger than life personality in the networking sites. Studies shows that ‘lonely’ people share too much on Facebook. Posting constant status updates, most of the time are fake and may be annoying for others, but it also shows that oversharing on the social network is also a sign of loneliness.’Posts’ and ‘likes’ from the friends creates a mental illusion and a mania of being superior among all.Sometimes very personal and intimate moments are posted on the Facebook, one hardly understands it could prove dangerous revealing things that should have been secret and sacred.Criminal offence stems out through such posts.Selfie posts have proved fatal to many users.Clicking selfies and posting has become a trend.Sometimes it’s hilarious to find selfies with food displayed on the table, projecting one as an animal lover or pics on moral values and placards of social messages.Remember these things are seasonal and limited only on Facebook posts as long as one gets the no. of ‘likes’. But genuinely one is opposite or far away from what is one trying to portray. Therefore one should not forget-
Don’t trust everything you see, even salt looks like sugar.
Lastly I would add that engaging into updating the status is a job of an attention seeker.
“We’re living at a time when attention is the new currency. Those who insert themselves into as many channels as possible look set to capture the most value.
So stay tuned!
